About the Role

Join a growing, now well-established, team of experts renowned for delivering high-quality Environmental consultancy.  Our client has a new opening for a proven EIA Consultant / Environmental Planner to join at Senior grade, based from either the London, North-West or Bristol offices

This is a permanent position, and offers a blend of office presence and the flexibility to work from home. There is a big emphasis on professional development, offering pathways to Chartered Environmental Status and IEMA membership. A competitive salary is complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including an enhanced pension scheme, life cover, bonus and medical cover options, and a strong commitment to employee wellbeing with flexible working arrangements and mental health support.

Take on a pivotal role in steering environmental inputs for significant infrastructure and development projects. These span various domains, including aviation, renewable power generation, masterplan development, and property development across commercial, residential, industrial, and healthcare sectors. Strategic Environmental Assessment projects will also be part of the remit.

Collaboration is key; the role involves working alongside internal technical environmental specialists and designers to manage environmental inputs from strategy development to detailed design and beyond. Engaging with clients, sub-consultants, preparing fee proposals, and authoring environmental reports and EIA documentation will be fundamental responsibilities.

Applicants should possess a relevant environmental degree, a robust understanding of EIA processes, and UK legislation.

A minimum of three years' relevant experience is essential, with a preference for those familiar with the DCO process. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are imperative, alongside an organised, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively within a team.

This role is not merely an opening; it is a chance to contribute to a company where environmental considerations are the cornerstone of development design.

If you are ready to make a significant impact and thrive within a collaborative, supportive team, Apply Now and send your CV through to me for a discussion.
